Tourism in Jordan

Amman is a short city stay: the citadel, a neighborhood lunch, and the road east or south the next morning. Jerash is the Roman day, close enough to return before dark.

Petra needs two days if the monastery walk matters. Wadi Rum is the night outside, and the Dead Sea is the float on the way back to the airport, not a whole itinerary by itself.
